Celebrating our 5th year!
It is nearly the time to get immersed into the festive mood of the Durga puja festival organised by Probasee Bengali of Perth (PBP). The happiness, excitement and glory of this auspicious celebration gets bigger than ever as we set a new milestone of successfully completing five years of this Durga Puja in Perth, WA.
Unequivocally, this wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support from all of you.
Like every year, we would once again like to welcome you all to come together and participate in puja rituals, ceremonies, cultural programs and then wrap up your day by enjoying delicious Indian vegetarian food.
We get people from different communities attending this event and our efforts are aimed to make this event free, so that without any inhibition, we all can enjoy an amazing festive season together.
See you, along with your family and friends on 8th, 9th and 10th of October 2021 at Canning Town Hall in Cannington, Western Australia.
We hope you understand, organising a puja of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible without hardwork and motivation of our team and others helping us voluntarily.
That said, we also incur expenses associated to do puja activities, including cultural programs and Indian vegetarian meals served on all days.
So far, we’ve been managing this with contributions from our members and sponsors who stepped in to support us. We are really thankful to Maa Durga for giving us the opportunity to serve the community over 3 days. We usually get 500-600 people attending this event and managing everything, including catering comes at a fair bit of cost.
We would therefore appreciate any contribution you perhaps could make; in cash or in-kind, to make this puja a great success. Your help and motivation would be highly appreciated and could make an invaluable difference to what we do, as efficiently as possible.
